Called Home

On December 7, 2015 the Lord called Brent Ferral Pierce home. He was a man of God. The one who had so much faith and trust in the Lord that he taught all to have faith and put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. At the age of 64 the Lord called him home and said, "Well done thou good and faithful servant because of thee, thy faith hath made thee whole". So in the eyes of the Lord he did everything that Christ taught him. And the Lord called him home. He was the rock of our family. The one we ran to when we needed his help. The Lord new when it was his time to be called home. I just wish that he wasn't called home so soon. For some the Lord calls them home young and for others much later on in life. He calls us home when he is ready for us, even though we are not ready to leave our family and friends. Begin called home is the Lords way of saying you've done well in the world today and you've helped all the people you could today. Your time has come to help those on the other side. Who want to learn more and inspire those here on the earth today? So when we are called home we are worthy to live with our Father in Heaven again.

He was a man of God. He was a temple going man of God. He was a serving man of God. He was church going man of God. He was the one we looked up to. The one chosen by God to leave this life early and live with our Father in Heaven. He was the one who reminded us all to have faith and never give up. He was a man that when trials came upon him would tackle them head on. He was a loving man and showed compassion for others. He was the one you ran to when you need help fixing something. The one who would drop all that he was doing to come and help you. He was a man that would give you his own shirt right off of his back. He was the one taught you to look for the good in all people. The one you called for a blessing just because you felt like you need a little extra help. He was a man of God. He was a man that raised his family right and taught them the gospel. He was someone you could easily. Who would lend a listening ear? He was my greatest fan. He was a man of many words. He was the one who called to say I'm thinking about and just wanted to know if there was anything I could do to help you. He was a man that lived his life to the fullest serving God and Helping other. He was the one that made your whole day just by begin around him. He was a great person. He was a man with talents willing and ready to serve. He was the one who could find the solution to all of your question. The one who suffered so much pain but still found the time to serve the Lord. He was a romantic man who loved his wife dearly. He was a teacher and friend. He was the one everyone wanted to grow up to be like. He was a Hero to many who knew him. Daddy Why?

Daddy why did you have to go? Why did the Lord take you away from me. Why is this so hard? Why do i feel this way? Why do I just want to break down and cry? Daddy why have you gone away? Why do things happen to good people? Why is life ment to be hard? Why do the ones we love die so young? Why do we have heartache and pain? Why is their so much sadness and sorrow? Why did you have to go so young?  When will I see you again? Why  does my heart fill so empty inside? Why can't I stop thinking about you? Why daddy? why did cancer have to take your life? Why can we not stop it all together? Why must we have trials in our life? Why do family have to through so much heartache after the of a loved one? Why can't we run from it. Why did you have to go away? Why did father take you up to live with him? Why, why, oh why did the good Lord take you away from us so young. Why do I fill like i'm in a dream? Why is it so hard for me to see the whole picture?  Why do I feel like every thing around me is falling apart and the world comes crashing down on me? Why is that when you get bad news more bad news follows? Why do good things always havw to happen to good people? I didn't ask for all this at once? Why are the good ones put to the hardest of tests. Why can't trials be easy? Why is everything so hard for those who work at it the hardest? Why do we trust with all our heart? To only find out that in the end that it was no good. Why faith in things we can't see? Why do we trust God? Because in the end with God all things are possible and our path way is brighter. With God at our side all your  why question will be answer when the Lord fills the time is right for you to know and when the right time comes your heart will be filled with so much peace and understanding. That you will start to cry tears of joy and happiness.

When....

When will the pain stop? When will the tears stop running down my face? When will my aching heart be mended? When will my life fill whole again? When will I stop feeling like this is all some dream? When will I feel at peace with it all? I just keep wondering when will I wake from this nightmare. When will I see or talk to my father again? When will my life be changed? When will I understand the reason? When will I find the meaning to it all? When does the pain become less and less and less painful? When will my life be whole again? When will the tears become tears of joy and happiness and not tears of sorrow and sadness? When will my aching heart be filled with love, kindness, joy and happiness? When will the comfort of my saviors love come? When will I believe in myself? When will mylife not be filled with so much sorrow? I just keep on thinking Lord help me help myself to understand this path that is placed before me. When, when will I understand the path the Lord wants me to take? when will I trust that this right road the Lord want me to take.

Daddies shoes

If I walked in my fathers shoes they would tell of a man who loved his family very much and who loved the Lord. A serving kind hearted carrying man. Who suffered so much pain but still found the time to serve any person he came in contact with. A temple going man. A man of god. One who taught his children and grandchildren to trust and love the Lord. A yard working man and a hard working man. Daddies shoes may be old and smelly. But they have been places, helping people in need, serving the Lord, giving of his time, tools and talents to other who passed his way. A loving man that loved his wife so very much. A man of God. A man who would do anything for his family, friends, and neighbors. Even someone walking on the street he would be their to lend a hand. If he found someone in trouble he would be right their to lend a hand. Daddies shoes have been every where serving the Lord any way he could. He loved the lord with all his heart. He was a worthy man. Who was one with the lord. Daddies shoes my be old. But they tell a story of all the places he's been, people he's helped and friends he has made along they way. His shoes tell us that he was a man of God. A man who put others needs before his own. A man who full filled his calling in the church to the fullest. A priesthood holding man. Thee shoes may not have any meaning to someone else. But to me and my family they do. They tell the stories of a church going, family loving man of god. One who is right with the lord. If someone were to pick these shoes up out of the blue they would think that they are just plain old boarding shoes with no story or legacy to tell. But if you asked the family, they will tell you different. Daddies shoes helped him dance the night away on his daughter's special night to their special song "butterfly Kisses". Daddies shoes have walked all over the place always willing to help at a moments notice. Now that he is gone his shoes just sit in the closet collecting dust never to be worn by him again. My father was a great man who taught his family the gospel and lived it well. Daddy has many shoes for different things he does. But the three that my dad walked in the most were is temple shoes, church shoes, and his garden shoes. He taught me all I know. I love and miss him so very much. His shoes say a lot about the kind of man he was and they way he lived his life. As these shoes sit here in the closet collecting dust I'm remember of the time these shoes were once worn by a great man, a man of God. A man so willing to work and help those in need. These shoes leave a legacy and a memory of a father, brother, freind, son, uncle, nephew, neighbor, and husband who will never be forgotten. One who will be remember for generations to come. One who put his turst in the Lord early on in life and who never gave up on his dreams or ambitions. who taught his children and grandchild to never give up just becasue life is hard.
